Bomber Bill wins the 2009 Cup beating Carski Drum who is aiming to go one better in 2010
Sunday May 16th sees the riunning of the 2010 Queanbeyan Cup with a busy day of eight races including the Barlens Thunderbolt sprint over 1000m, the ActewAGL Golden Bullet for 2 year-olds over 1100m and of course the $40,000 Country Style Windows Queanbeyan Cup over 2000m. Gates open at 10.30 and the racing commences with the Golden Bullet being run at 12.20, and race 8, the Thunderbolt at 4.33. The day will be an outstanding feature day for the club and again includes the Riverside Plaza fashions on the field. There will be plenty of activities for the children and a great range of food and beverages available. Marquees and tables are still available and can be reserved by phoning the Club on 62992398.
