Bungendore Cup day on 17th April is shaping up to be a great day. The six race program starts at 1.47pm and is a TAB meeting with the club's first Saturday coverage on the Sky2 racing channel.The Cup race is proudly sponsored by Bungendore Water Bores and one of the features of the day will be the visit by Takeover Target as part of his Australian farewell tour. ActewAGL are proudly sponsoring the visit by the champion and his trainer Joe Janiak, and will be a sentimental favourite with the crowds as he revisits the track where his career began & winning his maiden race in April 2004. There will be two framed photos of TT, signed by Joe and reguler jockey Jay Ford to be won by lucky race day patrons on the day. The Queanbeyan City Council will also be making a special presentation to Joe.The day is focused on being a fun community day with plenty of activities for children and everyone is encouraged to come along and share the excitement of the day.The next race day at Queanbeyan will be the 2010 Queanbeyan Cup, promising the usual great day of racing and activities on our feature race day
