The annual Captains Flat Cup race day is scheduled for Friday 29th February and promises to be an excellent day with the support of the Captains Flat traders and community. A courtesy bus will be provided from Captains Flat to the Queanbeyan racecourse and return for the Captains Flat locals with the Captains Flat Hotel sponsoring the main race the Captains Flat Cup over 1600m. Other Sponsors on the day include the Captains Flat RSL & Bowling Club, The Captains Flat General Store, REACT Roofing and Rydges Capital Hill Hotel.
