Canberra based galloper My General looks to be an omen bet among the nominations for the Defence Cup day races at Queanbeyan this Saturday the 30th of September.  The annual Defence Cup races honour the men and women of the Australian Defence Forces, past and present.  All members of the Defence Forces, with an identity card, will be admitted freeof charge to the Queanbeyan racecourse on Saturday.  The first race will be at 1.08pm with the last at 4.15pm with meeting proudly sponsored my Toll Priority, Manpower, Defence Housing Authority, HSA Group and Trans-Civ Defence Personnel Management.  All AFL lovers will be taken care of on the day with several of the Big Screen's telecasting the 2006 AFL Grand Final between the Sydney Swans & West Coast Eagles.  For more information contact David at the Club on 6299 2398.
